Rosimeire Barboza da Silva is a Psychologist, and currently a PhD candidate at the Centre for Social Studies of the University of Coimbra (CES/UC), Portugal. She is a researcher at the LabEC (Laboratory of Critical Discourse Studies) at the University of Brasilia, Brazil. Her research interests are related to the ways homeless people mobilize struggles and democratic demands for human rights in complex social contexts. In accordance with these critical issues, the feminist epistemologies, the knowledge production modes and the testimonies as narrative constructions and the Microhistory of the present also figures as central to her work interests.
